Anyone successful in cloning/imaging out the data from a non booting Microsoft Surface RT Tablet?
Repair disk doesn't allow the main drive to be accessed (no volume letter assigned to it), and so there's no useful commands that you can use.
Can't boot up an Ubuntu LiveCD because of Microsoft's Secure Boot, and also due to the RT's ARM architecture.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

ha mate so last time i run into this problem there was bitlocker on the disk. i use fedora it shows if its bitlocker or not. you can turn off Microsoft Secure Boot when you hold down power and volume down or volume up one of the two. worst case you will need to lift the screen and dock the drive and recover that way lolol just bill them higher because you need to replace the screen after lift

Umm yea so normally I install gparted on a live fedora usb and that allows me to image but this only works if you can get it to boot. As I have said before you can use dislocker to decrypt the image as long as you have the bitlocker key. there are ways. And this is a pick from a surface RT
