Hello folks,
I am an incident responder that as everyone else under lockdown is looking for some hobby to pass the time :)
While reading around about SD cards, and the ways how to dump them through the usual pins (i.e SPI mode and SDIO mode)...
I came across the usual PC-3000 Flash device and its daughter-board that allows to dump SDcards raw images through the monolith's testpoints.

Now my quest to understand what are those testpoints and how I can interface with them over a more open-source/hardware solution has started.
Does anyone have some resources that could share, thus I could have a better idea what protocol/bus is used to communicate with the eMMC over those TPs?

The main material I can find online is mostly... buy this/that... connect the TPx to PinX, TPy to Piny, etc... and then open the licenses tool and dump.

It may sound strange, but I cannot figure out why in 2021 there is no FOSS solution that allows similar features (i.e. as it already happens for TSOP48 NANDS, SPIs, I2Cs, etc.)
Any help would be really appreciated! :)

For instance:

find nand flash docs, read them any you should get the picture. At least a smal shard of it.
Those times have passed long ago when you could just read raw data from a nand based memory like that. These things are complex and the user needs a lot of comprehension even with tools in your hand.
There are thousands of different devices, so manual work can't be left out of the picture.
