Got a new 3tb WD Passport in. 5 Platters, 10 Heads. It is a WD fatty size, not the standard 9.5mm. Just a heads up so we can see some ramps for it. Thanks

Well,
Never seen anything till today more then 8 heads .This drive would be quite tough to handle without proper head tools .But still with some dedication its possible to swap heads using plastic medicine pill 2 cent head replacement tool .I have mastered to do a 8 head in few days using that method .it was very challenging

Milos ,'
what these guys are doing is adding one platter after the other as they are not bothered about height in usb drives
