Hi,i have a big problem and I want to to know how to resolve if I can .
I have a WD20EZRX and unfortunately occurred a short circuit in an adapter that was connected SATA hard drive, this hard since that time not worked. I tried to recover from a switching a PCB from a WD2500AAJS without my documentation if it's ok or not but ,normal that didn't work. The problem is that now the second hard drive stops working, to be burned on the second board hdd?
2TB hard drive board have the diode D3 has burned , seen it physically but also by measuring.this hdd maybe will work after I change that diode, but with second hdd what I can do?what happened with him?.thanks

It appears that your HDDs were damaged by an overvoltage on the 5V supply. You need to measure the voltages at the SATA connector.

Show us detailed photos of the damaged boards.
