We are finalizing our work on the documentation and presentations for the Laminar flow cabinets, and soon everything will be ready for an official product announcement.
The only thing I would want changed/added with that stunning design, is a front cover that rolls up into the hood, like an accordion desk. Otherwise, particles infiltrate and accumulate from the room air, requiring the table to be cleaned before use (or periodically).
A 6ft to 8ft Baker horizontal flow hood can be had on eBay for as little as $1000 (used) to $6000 (new). Sometimes even cheaper at medical auctions. Built like a tank and filters that last decades. Not sure why someone would want to reinvent the wheel or use a small box.
1. I like to buy new stuff. 2. I do not like our old loud chambers. 3. I like nice things. 4. I wanted to be able.to power on off drive with out milion cablea in chamber. 5. We needed 5 in our lab so it was idea to make them 6. You can make some money in making nice quality stuff wich medical institions will buy as new and then sell on auctions I could remmber a few more. But i think it was a chalenge to make iPhone within chambers...
