About the registration, have all the bugs been solved ? Maybe there is something that is giving errors even when people register with the correct address.

Who deletes media cache? Do they not know it’s function. I may be wrong, has been known, but I always thought clearing media cache performs a flush on completion, wiping the data area on hard drive for the areas included in the mc. There are much better ways of working with mc

@spildit - Nikola means "They didnt delete any emails, due to replacement of new system/software - all the registration went invalid. Thats why requesting for new registration!
And, he is charging for not making profit/business, he is making it for collecting/managing the operating cost of the server where he is being charged for every downloads/bandwidth.

@nikola - you have been making great efforts for DR industry for years by developing innovative tools. I think, it is easily understandable by the users if you say, its not the charge/payment for the fw, instead it is the operating cost of the downloads!

Download is free as it used to be. We are just more strict to email registration. As I said we have guys who made soft and use many different gmail accounts to copy Db. To eliminate this we made a strict rule. Just sign in with company domain. If you want to remain anonimus, go to premium section. 99.999999% will use it like they did.
We just could not spend 1h a day for filtering mails.

Having a free share of resources too, I found that, for some stupid reason, people would sign up and want to download everything rather than just download the one resource they need.

Fortunately for me, I host my own server and have unlimited usage. But, I still don't want my internet maxed out all the time either.

Anyway...we all run our businesses differently. Let's not get too upset when others don't want do it our way.

I have to agree that access to the FW databases has to be limited, due to the greedy bastards who sign up and just leech the entire database. Unfortunately these selfish f***ers have spoiled it for everybody else

One way of putting these idiots off is by only allowing unlimited free access to genuine people and allowing access to Joe Public for individual downloads at a small charge. This would result in the scroungers being put off. Nikola has chosen this route and I have no problem with it, he can run his business as he chooses, he’s not a charity!

I do not work for any DR company and i don't have a website, i just do recovery for some computer shops near to me and have collaboration with a DR company.
Many people here on guru know me, i'm not a spammer, furthermore i hate them, but i can't access anymore to hddsurgery database (exept by paying).

I think people as me, Spildit, fzabkar and few more that do not do data recovery "professionaly", but have a good DR notion and have contributed to this community for years, should have free access again to fw database, but this is obviously at the discretion of Nikola.

Even Nikola is part of this community, if he is here for years is because he always tried to help users of the forum.

This is how they work, if one day they wake up thinking they want charge more money, they can delete your account without any explanation.

Finally hddsurgery sent me the email about their system changes as should do a professional company, now i can apologize with you.
