unidentified bytes in the SA

December 27th, 2016, 14:19

Hello everybody how are you?

I am working with a pendrive, the controller is a tc58n6629g6f. I can identify service area in the memory and i have LPN and the ECC but i cant identify 3 bytes after the LPN. These bytes are the same within page.

The page size is 17664 and page structure is

(1024 bytes data area + 1 byte LPN + 3 bytes unidentified + 70 bytes ECC) * 16

and the last 96 bytes of each page is fillid with FF

My best regards and happy holidays

For this controller there is no LBN in SA. SA looks partially XORed. Probably if you apply XOR to SA part it will be cleaned.
