ratio between vcc and vccq

January 23rd, 2018, 10:07

Hello Vnr users, how are you all ?

I have a case is a pendrive and the memorie is very damage after all night trying to correct one dump only correct half with 74% of error. Now the voltages in the reader are settings in vcc 2.3 V and Vccq 3.3 V. And now i am thinking to low the voltage to 1.8v of vcc but is necessary low the Vccq to and in a specific ratio between the 2 voltages.

Thanks very much
My best regards

depends on the chip. I wouldn't go lower thank 2.2 for vcc... never seen good results lower. Maybe read retry needs to be tinkered with, or vcc applied to other pins. have you tried lowering vccq and raising slightly vcc

You should add the chip part number and ID.

Are the pins nice and clean?

cheers

HaQue thanks very much to answer my question!!!!!

is possible improve the reading lowering the vccq and raise up vcc ? i belive the reading impreve when the voltage of the core are lower

Thanks very much

my best regards

Yes you can try that too. just don't raise VCC too much.

You should add the chip part number and ID to this post.
