I have access to the list of sysfiles, but I can not read any sysfiles.

The overlay 05 that module or sysfile is?
The full overlay list can someone tell me?

Hi,
This could be a fault of a weak head ,Or might be a actual physical bad sector in drive SA area .I would say try a headswap

Hello,
I have already changed my heads and do exactly the same.
What I do not know is if missing the module 03 and also the 2b + 0b, I will be able to recover the data?
PCB also changed just in case, although it was evident that it was not PCB problem.

When I turn on the disk I have access to cp and modules.
I do not have access to sysfiles. If I try to read sysfiles, I lose access to cp and modules.

I keep working on this hard drive with no results.
I have found several problems. I'm not sure about everything.
Error reading 0x03 and 0x2b, other modules totally written with "0x00", for example 0x01 and 0x02, leave the CAP unacquainted.
I have access to the list of SYSFiles, but I do not know where the MRTLAB is from.
Although I can not recover the information, I would like to be able to read the sysfiles.

Thank you.

I opened the album after spending a lot of time with him.
I did not use a HEPA 100 sale.
Still with the same fault since I brought it.
In the upper plate I saw a small chopped, and I think that there is the whole problem.
I do not read 0x03 nor 0x2b, it always gives me the same reading failure in the SA, from the first day. I have a copy of the SA, but I can not make a copy of the SA tracks, to try to recostruy any of these modules.

You have bigger problems now that you did open that thing outside HEPA 100 clean room ...

Not to mention it's a 7200.12 "thing" ...

What was the initial problem with the drive ? Initial terminal log ? Did the drive ID at all ? Correct capacity ? Wrong capacity ?

Can you read the same modules, CPs, sysfiles on a known good drive of the exact same model using your MRT tool (to discard possible MRT bug) ?

Are you sure that the initial problem was P-List related ?

Do you need data from that drive ?

Can't you just outsource the drive to a real data recovery lab now that you did mess it up more ?

Are you using any sort of laminar flow workbench or asseptic room even if not certifyed and HEPA 100 ?

.... and the list goes on.

Best advice that i can provide now - do exactly as shown on your avatar picture.

I respect you for all your work that you do for others, but I do not share your opinion.
I'll keep trying, I get tens of hours dedicated and I'll keep trying.

If it were something important to pay for a laboratory and had a solution, it would already be solved.

Greetings.

I like your avatar picture. That's all.

I'm not telling you not to try and play and mess drives ...

What i'm trying to say is that you shouldn't do the same to client's drives with important data that they want to recover and are trusting in you to get their data back while you are opening their drives in clear air ...

Not bad if you do that to your drives to test and learn and practice head swap as data is not needed and you are testing to see if you can replace heads without smatching them but if the goal is to recover data from someone else ... it's a diferent story ...
