 Post subject: How to Use ROM Programme

ROM programmer is used to read/write Flash ROM chip. You can use it to flash HDD ROM or motherboard


BIOS for hard disk repair and data recovery. Before using, you should put ROM chip into programmer base in correct direction.



As is shown in the picture, there is a dot at a corner of ROM chip marking the direction of chip.

As is shown below, put the ROM chip into programmer base, keep the chip pins contact well with programmer base. Note that the dot on ROM chip should locates on bottom left of programmer base, as is illustrated in the picture.

When chip is properly placed, you can start MRT software and read/write ROM chip.

Doesn't work with 1.8V rom chips as for Barracuda 7200.14 PCBs, it will kill them!
