Hello guys,

I managed to backup the ROM File form a defective Interface.. the question is how to transfer the ROM file to the new Interface with MRT Pro? Any ideas?

Maybe this is a stupid question.. ;-)

Greetings
Benjamin

I made and image not having to desolder and solder the ROM chip to the new interface. Hopefully there is a easy way.

Connect the Seagate drive to the terminal adaptor. There should be an option to write rom on PCB by starting the pcb by BOOT CODE. There should be some manuals or info on how to do so with the tool. If you start the Seagate pcb by boot code then you can write ROM by terminal without any problem.
