Question is: ...per year or each update? :?

Has been fixed the long path issue on new update ?
We're waiting since years that they solve this annoying problem, shouldn't be too hard to understand that it's not needed all that long crap:
"\Virtual partition01 - ExFAT - 931.41 GB - LABEL NAME\Root"

They've made reference to WD Boot ROM in the May 19, 2017 update.
Quote:
– Add ROM reading and writing in Boot ROM mode, support 1640, 1698 and other PCB model

However, I've yet to find out how to access it and when I asked them about it in the past, they said it would be available in the next update and I see it is, again, listed. Perhaps, this time, it will actually be accessible.

I’ve often thought about buying some MRT tools for less taxing tasks (to free up some of my PC3K ports) but continually put off by the evident lack of support, ignoring bug reports and lying about available features :-(

For imaging purposes, I don't find many bugs on it. It's good enough.
So, if the idea is only for imaging, could be interesting.

I've been awaiting their update to DE with support for more than Windows based file systems so I can do a review. So, when this update finally makes it out, I will recharge my card and do a review of the DE module.

Thus far, I've only charged my card 4 times in the more than 12 months of having it, of which one time was just to get the extra imaging channels for a RAID project.
