Does anyone have a loader or any info at all on this drive? WD3009FYPX-09AAMBO. I have four of them, all with the same issue. Spin up and down 3 times, stay down.

Zone Allocation Table says Error. Loader is recommended. Tried going through each head individually, no luck. Family is reported as Draco.

Thanks

This is day 1 for me with an MRTLab card (or any card). I managed to guess my way through downloading firmware files for $9 from another site and then somehow converted that into an LDR file. Drive is still broken, but I got a little excited there.

Thank you! That's good to know. Putting that in my notebook. :) Day 2 so far has left me with many more questions.

It's so odd though. I have four of these drives from March 2012. They were all in a WD Sentinel box, supposedly. When I purchased them I thought maybe it was going to be some super easy fix (eg.disable PUIS). Maybe power anomaly zapped the heads (or preamp?) on all four of them? They all exhibit the exact same behavior audibly and in diagnostics.
