Question is about serious SLOW RESPONSE problem on WD.

Some time disk is totally locked and use function "SLOW RESPONSE PROBLEM" in MRT seem very difficult because disk dont respond and still busy.

I'm starting to work (also) with MRT after years of PC3000 using and in PC3000 this basic problem can solve in 10 seconds:

>Isolate contact heads from PCB > Identify disk > lock SA access > upload DIR and LDR in RAM> so can use SOLVE SLOW RESPONSE.

I'm pretty sure MRT have a similar procedure but I can't find any documentation about.

Someone can explain me procedure or link some document about it?
Thanks

Read module 02 and patch it by hand if you can't find any option on the software to do the fix ?

I would bet that there should be an option somewhere to apply the fix without having to edit module 02 by hand ...

I'm sure too ....but where? :?:
