I really did not expect to see old hd doctor support hitachi 5450A7 family but modern mrt professional hd tool not support hitachi 5450A7 family (I tried many models of this family none of them supported by mrt) I checked pc3k and dolphin dfl both support this family so it leaves mrt the only tool probably not supported this.

A while back, I was able to show (MRT support) them via a remote session that A9 was not supported either. A healthy drive that I was able to backup the SA and read with no problems (a few bad sectors) on PC3K, but MRT would refuse to read allow for SA access, no matter which utility they tried...and they tried them all. Although there is no A9 series, my guess is that it should read via the universal utility or even the A7, if there weren't a glitch somewhere.

DE can access lba fine. It is a matter of not accessing the SA on MRT. sorry for the brain fart about intermixing families...thinking non arm families while talking about arm families.

On Select Family : You see correct family in MRT LOG .

I should have mentioned,MRT didn't select the family like he does automatically in A9,I select it manually.
