Terminal problem MRT - FUJITSU 2.5 "SATA

October 14th, 2018, 17:54

I try to connect by terminal with the MRTLAB adapter but I can not connect to any disk.
Something I do not have to be doing well. Someone can advise me.
I also want to connect with hyperterminal but I can not.

If I have it, I just sent a message to MRT too.
I want to play a bit with the terminal, and start studying the Fujitsu.
I put a picture.
tx-rx are at 3v, but there is a 5v pin and another gnd
Neither do I know if it is necessary to send or what command to send to establish communication.

HDD : FUJITSU MHV2080BH PL

I sponsor what little I have taken.

The adapter of the MRTLAB works perfectly, just as I have placed it on the HDD.
In the HDD connector we have GND, UAO, UAI, 5V, which are respectively GND, TX, RX, 5V, to avoid problems of some short with the current I only use the pins UAO (TX HDD) and UAI (RX HDD) to which I connect the RX and TX pins of the RS232 adapter (TTL 3.3V)

The port configuration is: 19200,7, EVEN, 1, NONE (It is the one with the MRTLAB configured).

Using the oscilloscope I have verified that the input / output of data through the hyperterminal is correct. I can see the HDD information output but I have not yet been able to send it any parameters. I will continue testing and I will put it as always as I can.

That's because at that time I was connected to hyperterminal and I was using the port.
I send him the command [ctrl +], but he does not answer me, he should answer OK.
I'm going to keep trying, I'm sure something is happening to me.

Now I can not connect with MRTLAB, they have dropped the server.

To connect to the HDD, press [Ctrl ^] 4 times and answer "OK!".
Possibly on keyboards with English distribution you have to press [Ctrl +]

I'll try to look for some commands, I hope it's worth something.

Greetings.

We are waiting for your testing.
Our website went offline for a while this morning due to a problem with the provider's DNS server. Now everything is accessible, sorry for the inconvenience.

I do not find anything on the internet, but when I have time I will look in the ROM, for a list of keywords, that could be used to find the commands. At least I think so.
By the way, the read rom command from mrtlab for fujitsu seems to have a bug.

I'll try when I have time and if I find something I'll let you know.
I already reported the error to MRTLAB, I hope that for the next version it is fixed.
