I know this should be straightforward but I can seem to connect to the COM port on any of the hard drives I've got using the UART USB card. Is there a vido anywhere that shows not only how to connect it but what lights should be on the card and how it looks in program itself? |

Seems like it only happens with WD drives. I'll have to try a different connector. |

@alfarom, when you say "the UART USB card", what do you mean by "the"? The early card was limited to 3.3V I/O whereas the latest card can handle 2.5V and 1.8V. |

The later card. Doesn't matter now it seems that I was only getting a problem with a couple of WD drives. |
