i think would be good to have a forum section for SD products as well pc3000 support has ... admin is it possible to have it?

as i said i'd shared my experience with data compass i received it and gave it a little try ...
I think it's a very good tool for dataextraction but i use it as extractor not as a cloner, i prefer to use deepspar and then DC.
I was able to retrieve datas from a maxtor n40p with lost structure, with r-studio i wasn't able to have folder names etc but with the software from DC i could rebuild it partially and was amazingly fast to copy.
i tried on a deleted drive and worked.
And from a toshiba drive with 1 surface partially unreadable i recovered all the needed datas and the jpg were all working!

now i will try with Harvey from SD in remote to work on a hitachi VL3 with sa problems and let you know.
i think it's a good tool and SD is giving a good support they sureley lack of firmware resources and their forum is not very helpfull, but i think growing will be more usefull then now.
Bye

Apparently their forum used to be good until they deleted it to make the new one...

I know that all of us on here with the salvation tools are happy to trade firmwares around when needed.

The new forum seems empty. Where are all the old posts from the previous forum? Surely it would be wise to transfer this to the new forum?
