How many rounds does the Gutmann method support?

How many rounds does the Gutmann method supports? I understand it's 35 passes for 1 round. Does anyone know the exact rounds it goes up too, or would the rounds be unlimited where there is no number?

35 passes per round. You can do as many rounds as you wish. But after the first pass your data is unrecoverable on standard media. If you're using a flash, even 35 passes isn't enough because of wear leveling.
