Hi all,

I wanted to add something to external drives that would protect them from 12V 4amp over current if the transformer develops a fault. Like a surge protection plug that you connect to the wall, but this one is for the 12v line that goes into the external drive.

I would also something that could be attached to the hard drive power cables that will offer protection when something happens. I know hard drives have there own protection, but if there could be a device that could be replaced easily in the event of a power spike it would provide extra peace of mind.

I tried looking on the net, but found nothing. I could be looking in the wrong place. Any guidance in finding this device would be great full. I need to be able to buy it from the UK too.

Many thanks
Shane
