Hello Guys

We would like to ad DR services to our IT services and I would really appreciate it if you would let me know the tools needed to repair and service the following

HDDs, RAID, SSDs, USBs, Smartphones ...

I know that the experience count more but we will have the patience to build it as we go.

We are a small start up IT company located in Morocco and there aren't any proper company doing this as a full-fledged.

Again I would really appreciate your help and advises.

More than 90% of all DR cases can be solved in imaging a
defect hdd - the rest (mechanical, fw or pcb issues) could be
sourced out to a good DR partner.

According to the last part of my post - imaging is a main part of the DR biz.

Deepspar is a very good choice, but one needs deeper understanding of the technical
background how to configure and operate the tool.

PC3000 UDMA is definitely for technicians - but a tool you should go for somewhen
in future - i.e. perhaps then the expected PC3000 Express will be on the market.
Infact its not the tool I use for imaging.

Comparable - Atola Insight Ethernet:
Its main part is imaging - with an excellent Windows user interface
fw handling is not really a big point
but with other options - and its simplicity of handling - a clear favourite

if its just the imaging you go for - its the Atola Imager - with the same
software as the Insight, but imaging part only.

To save money one could also use the Insight USB - if imaging speed is not the
big point
or Insight USB in addition with either the Atola Imager or the Atola Bandura.

finally the Atola Bandura
its an outstanding product - especially for its very interesting price.
For a DR biz I see it as a tool in addition to the others allready existing.

It helps me a lot - when my Insight is occupied or when I need a quick wiping
or sector remapping - or even as additional test unit to access a very fault hdd

Ok, its up to you from which side you want to start and
what amount you have and how much you want to invest at the beginning.

ok, but outside of Russia its not available yet - therefore for
a customer in Morocco - its not yet possible to buy this product.

and according to usual rules of ACE you cant just buy within Russia
(if you have contacts there) and export the tool yourself. Ace usually
insists on a contract with the buyer (company) and forbids reselling
of their products.

Fact is that PC-3000 Express is available already.
What's reason to buy old (but very useful) product ? Be patient a few weeks and you can get a new version.
