Hi Everyone,

I have heard a lot of rumours or many data recovery companies being sold or the owners trying to sell at the moment in the USA and worldwide. A rumour going around about the biggest guy in DR trying to sell.

What's the news in your part of the world? Heard of many people selling/buying data recovery companies?

see them from time to time, but if you look at any other business, IMHO the quantity is no larger.

just a case of if you buy a red Mini, you start seeing them everywhere :)

Anyway for this data to be meaningful, you would need to know the amount of business, the amount for sale, the reasons for sale and then figure what you want to compare it to.

2 or 3 for sale at the same tim in USA for example isn't worthy of calling it a spate of sales.

What is the rumor exactly? Why are they are trying to sell? Can pm if more comfortable.

Not sure if it's true - i have heard a lot of people in DR are selling out..and getting penuts! Rumours of chinese investors.
