Until there are standards and honest to goodness textbooks, it is not going to happen on any scale worth a damn.

I know most people that are on here can name an edge case where some aspiring students/lecturers/Professors convinced the University to make a special course. But for Uni degrees you need textbooks, course, study material, Professors in said degree etc etc. There is a lot of groundwork that needs to be done.

If anyone disagrees, then what do you think the timeframe would be for a real, proper University degree in DR? or even a CS with honors in DR or whatever they do these days, if CS is even the right base degree.. Electrical engineering? Computer Engineering?

reminds me of when I wa in railways and we needed a licence for the reachstackers to load containers. Well they combined mobile slewing cranes, 32 Tonne forklift and Riggers tickets to make one that was "close enough"
