CNC Experience

October 30th, 2014, 14:54

few days back my close friend called me asking me to help him connecting his CNC parts together
and test it to make sure it works.

to be honest, this is my 1st. experience with such a subject consindering the whole final output
of the damn motors.

after 2 hours, we got it and managed to get the motors to work
was really amazing...

its in total 4 Motors which are controlled via the application,
the task was to assemble the parts together and make sure it works
then we needed to know the Application function before we go & fix it with the other heavy parts

And @ the end: Mission Accomplished

I remember setting up a leather cutting machine with mastercam software and the "fun" that was.
NC files or something similar were written to tell the machine direction, distance, cut etc..

It was pretty cool once we figured it out. Windows95 IIRC or maybe 98
