Dear Experts,

We are having a good deal on rechargeable batteries which we are going to order very soon
the Qty. is huge 10k pieces and maybe more...

its coming from China, but since i had a very BAD EXPERIENCE with the Chinese when it comes to Large Qty.`s
i was wondering about the following:

I know about those rechargeable batteries and am talking about the : Ni-MH & Ni-CD rechargeable batteries

Is there any reliable TESTER in order for me to do a random check before going through the payment and so?

i don`t want to end-up paying for those and i figure out its almost dead, or OLD or maybe working @50% function.

any expert knows about this and might advice here??

thank you

I forgot to add the following here to the post:

those Bat. are 2700mAH 3200mAH 10,000mAH

any possible way to make sure its really the 10,000mAH for example??

i mean the FASTEST WAY, we don`t want to test each one of them

I know some of the Fake chinese are 2700 (or maybe less) and they change the sticker to damn 10k mAH

thnx

The fastest way to eliminate obvious fakes would be to look at them and weigh them. A 10000mAh battery would weigh about 4 times as much as a 2700mAh and would be 4 times the size by volume.

To test their ability to store charge, charge them up and discharge them at a 1C rate. You should get about an hour of operation out of them.

@ data-medics

i dont need a charger here my dear, looking for PRO. TESTER

@ fzabkar

about the Bat. weight, they are the same almost, no Diff. even comparing Normal D-Type with the Rechargable which i got as a sample 10k mAH
both are the same in weight (almost)

In order to test the Bat. we can charge it full, and then test the Dis-charging process and count the time (stupid idea when it comes to Qty.`s)

i was wondering if there is any other alter. method to verify this.

thnx

Manufacturers do strange things with C and D cells.

and somehow better to NOT GET involved into this mess.

too much to PAY, and less Options to have self-confident on those products..

You shouldn't be comparing the weight of a "standard" D-size cell against your "10k" cell. You should be comparing the 10k cell against 4 of your rechargeable AA cells.

I guess you didnt actually look at what posted. While it certainly can be used as a charger, its also a discharger and measures the mHA as it discharges the battery. Its what other guys use to detect the Chinese fake batteries.

In fact right on it it says "professional battery tester"

Well, in fact you did not READ my Q. from the 1st. place

i WAS planning to buy 10,000 pieces of those Bat. and was wondering about a QUICKER WAY to diagnose them
not have a Smoke with coffee and wait for the device to Discharge and tell me if its good or not.

thank you

A quick test would be to apply a discharge load of 10A for a few seconds and monitor the battery's terminal voltage. The voltage drop will reflect the battery's internal resistance. A D-cell that is equivalent to 4 parallel connected AA cells will have an internal resistance that is 4 times lower.

The B6AC has a 1A max discharge current, so ISTM that it wouldn't be a suitable tester. In any case you would have to wait 10 hours for a full discharge.

Hi fzabkar :>

i was reading about it in many places, and seems there is no reliable QUICK tester for this
and i was having a good deal by buying those, but the RISK is very high here

better no to get involved

and thank you again and all of you for the replies :

Hi,

in reading these posts I remember that I received an offer from one of my
chinese suppliers (several years now).

Enclosed is the part with the battery tester. I have no further information
besides the one on that xls sheet. They charge > US$ 300,- + shipping
for that tool - and I really dont know whether this is a fair price for that.

Would like to learn your comments about it

thank you

they more likely show you a good set to test.

not going to let you check a load out.

there a new trick

incase a little battery inside it and also printed case with wrong label 1000mah

or half your order goes missing possible old stock.

i would recommend getting a second partner in china to over see the deal
so you dont get ripped off.

as once you pay it be very hard to get your money back
