Hello

I try to repair file system on laptop Asus R500DR-SX030V , because owner overwrite original partitions and system by installing Windows 7 of other source than recovery partition and CD.
Happily Recovery partition had survived but i am not sure whether files on it are ok.
By EasyBCD program i mount winre.wim of WindowsRE folder to boot loader , but when start recovery of the restored recovery partition something missing, because occurs ERROR like on the picture.
Now need read file with first 100 sectors of the disk(500GB) such an efficient computer, and information what files should be on recovery partition.
Anybody know how to repair the computer and restore to factory settings , maybe someone have "Recovery CD" for the machine ?

Regards

Hi Elektronix,

have you tried the F9 key at machine startup? That's the usual key for Asus machines.
This should give you menu for Windows setup.

Why don't you use an original Windows CD/DVD and install it manually?
Or try to get an image from another laptop.
Or, like HaQue said, get it from Asus.
