Did I piss someone off?

For some reason my site has been taken down twice today for extremely high amounts of activity. Literally around 5000 page downloads per hour have been going on all day. Did I piss somebody off and they are now running some sort of denial of service attack against my site?

DDoS attack not likely this would just send traffic to your website by the thousands

could be using a web downloader which would download everything from your website
and just keep repeating it
