Hi all,
I’m looking to upgrade a networked drive (WD Cloud) to something with better access speed.
Where to start…
- 2 computers need to access the drive
- The drive needs to be connected to the internet so we can access the drive remotely from time to time. Speed does not matter when preforming this task
- I edit videos on my a Lenovo P71 laptop with 2 Thunderbolt3 ports with Win10 pro.
- The other computer just needs average speeds to view images.
- The two computers are only 10 ft apart and the drive and sit near either computer
Budget is around $700, flexible.
GB size around 8t’s
I’m open to a NAS setup or a signal drive like the WD Cloud, but with faster access speeds.
