i am one of the rare few that WANTS to use the hpa in HDD. my questions are ..

1. is the hpa factory-installed? how do i know if its there already?

2. if i ghost my present HDD to the new HDD, will the hpa in the new HDD disappear?

1. If capacity declared in BIOS or windows is different from what's written on the label then it's installed.
