Can anybody recommend software to recover some corrupted Word Documents from a
FAT32 partition.

All the Word Docs appear but 95% of them open up as junk files i.e. gibberish.

The user accidently formatted the drive with some Linux installation.

Please help!

Could be overwritted or linked cross, one way should be check the correct, access to the "data zone" at the FAT cluster´s , even check if still remain´s the complete FAT records, and tried to "following" the pointers, until find the data to that files, if still "alive", u need to check, if the cluster wich links, really its the data sectors, if no, u have or linked cross, or overwritted, the only ways at tat case shold be like poehere, raw data recovery

Regards
