Function: through instruction restores normal brush to write ROM program; the scope of application: ROM program embedded in the main control chip MCU series of hard disk ( eight feet ROM chip drive circuit board ); principle: short circuit drive circuit board CPU specific foot position, Using special software, via the serial port, reflash the internal or external ROM( not data line hard circuit board ) to the CPU sends an activation command and ROM data, enable the CPU ROM program resumed control of hard work.

Method of use: to install: NET4.0,13XX series circuit board in circuit board E112 plus 3.3V voltage, connected with the serial port communication line, then drive power supply ( not connected with the data line ): run U commands, COM export, call, the following SSS is connected, the selected file, writing brush, so simple.

I don't understand what does this tool?

Western digital can be hooked to a serial port as Seagate hdd?

Here is what he's saying
1. Take WD PCB(ARM based) that has erased or incompatible ROM image (bricked PCB)
2. Connect serial port as shown
3. Short some magic pins to start X-Modem sequence in MCU boot code(E112 and 3.3V for PCB 13xx, 1335 for example). The number is etched on PCB as 2060-701335-xxx
4. Select correct ROM image file and flash it to the drive with the program. Program will use special loaders (called EraseL.dll, SystemL.dll) to do so
5. Per my understanding, provided utility supports only 128KB flash files (external flash chips). For 192KB flash the program will look for Erase.dll and System.dll files that are not provided, thus will not work with those.

Can this work also with pcb 2060-701477-002 ?
Also, in point 4 you say "Select correct ROM image file and flash it to the drive with the program". Where do i get the correct ROM file if my is erased?

Agree with you here
and wanted to add: There are many ROUTES to the SAME destination

and 4 sure, this is one of them.

but @ the end of this, something good came up here
