Did you save recovered files on same location where was original files or on different location (disk)?

We need more information:

1. What was the original problem with the drive?
2. Are you working with a sector-by-sector clone of the drive?
3. Were there any unread sectors?
4. Where did you copy the recovered files?

So, yeah.. basically, what is needed a proper hardware imager service to read all the sectors as best as possible.
Can't maximize best outcome with software tools. See a data recovery specialist. Like this will not make progress as there is too much data content missing within each file from the unread sectors.

You can try this:

1) Make a copy of the file
2) Rename the copy, giving it a "zip" extension.
3) Try to open the zip archive and see if there are files inside.
4) If the zip does not open, you can try repairing it with Zip Repair Pro (www.ziprepair.com)
5) Try to compare the content of the archive with a previous version of the same file (also renamed as ".zip")
or if not available, with another ".xlsx", to see if some files are lacking in it.
6) Extract the lacking files from the valid archive and add them to to the corrupted one.
7) Rename the modified archive back from ".zip" to ".xlsx"

Another approach, sometimes more efficient, is to perform file carving to extract same or older versions of the xlsx file from unallocated areas.
