Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been using MHDD for years on 1 and 2TB sata drives with great results. The time has come to tackle SAS drives. Is there a tool similar to mhdd that supports 4, 6 and 8TB SAS drives in an external enclosure connected to a HBA. I have ~225 drives I want to check.

Free or paid software.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Yep looks like it. Will add a SAS card to a Win7 workstation and will scan away.

The 2TB drives have 70k hrs on them now, shall be interesting to see how they scan

Once its connected to your HBA any software can scan it .How about some i know hdtune ?
