I've been using MHDD heavily at work and i must say its a nice piece of software. When i brought it home it would hang/freeze a few seconds into scanning or erasing. I did a thorough scan of the drive with the manufacturer software and it came up clean.

Any suggestions?

1.What is the version of MHDD?
2.Are you running it from a CD, floppy, ?

3.How exactly it freezes? (Does Num lock key still switches the status of the LEDs on the keyboard, can you reboot the computer by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL keys, can you break the program by using the CRTL+Break keys?)

4.What is "inside" your computer (motherboard, pci cards)
