Have been reading the MHDD manual and could not find out detailed information concerning Erase.

Does Erase meet NSA or other accepted standards for Secure Deletion such as mentioned in this paper? http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/p ... e_del.html

If not is it possible to do Secure Deletion using Batches?

I do not consider myself an expert in this area so would appreciate any suggestions or comments.
