Hello, apologies if this subject has come up before - I am looking for software to enable me to rewrite the drive Model and Manufacturer details/ identifiers that are shown by the SCSI controller, when polling during boot up.

One example (of many!) I want to change Seagate ST5660N Sun0535 to just Seagate ST5660N.

Does anyone have an suggestions or help for this please?
