 Post subject: why my hard disk once starts clicking while working?

hi all people out there
my hard disk is working well.but i dont know why it starts clicking
when it wants to R/W at sector 116090000.but if you restart the computer
it`ll work fine again.
note: it doesnt make clicking noise immedietly after being turned on.
it does that just when it reaches to this sector while formating,scanning,partitioning,etc

plz guide me whats wrong with my hdd

It seams like your hard drive doesn't like to go past this sector. Mostlikley the sector is damaged. You could try to repair the sector with MHDD for example. I would just buy a new hard drive. but what ever you do, make sure you have backed up your data!

found this forum working great withthe support of slavation company...
also find pc3000 firmwares and discussion..
