He mentions in the video that if your hard drive requires 'clean lab services' statistically you will not get your data back.
Is he for real?
And his office is also based in a shopping centre?

Statisically his chubby fingers arn't able to work on 2.5" drives so thats why if it needs physical work a recovery is unlikely.

In the years past, we did see a fairly high percentage of logical recoveries. However, I'd say those numbers are shifting and the need for lab work has increased significantly over the past two years. Most of the time, I suspect the reason that many companies say that lab work has low percentages is because they tend to beat the life out of the drives prior to sending them in for assessment.
I'm curious to know what kind of low level drive duplication tools he could be running from MacOS. Outside of installing dd_rescue, is there any low level tools that I'm not aware of?

The video and what he is saying is all about perception. If he gives off a good perception to viewers, they could end up being potential customers. Maybe i can set up shop next door to tesco or asda or in the middle of a shopping centre get myself noticed a bit more

the only one i can think of that he is using is a program called CopyCatX
which i heard works very well for macs os

there a lot of people out there that are there to screw everyone or companys
which give the good guy data recovery company a bad name.
for a logical issue cost should be less then $80 to $150 on the drive size.
i know one company in the usa who own a well brand name for suncream
they got a quote for recovery of there client data base $10,000
we did the recovery for less then $450

Nope. That's the big no no for me, this might cause over load which we don't want to happen for the safer of our devices let's follow the proper connection for these devices.

Whenever I get involved with a new client and its an on-site deal, I bring my bag of drives with me. These are fire-burned, some have damaged cases, a few are brand new with the factory tape and pull-tab wrappers still present. I also have a short film and am prepared to do a 5GB image restore right on site right there. Along with a nice little portfolio of commendation letters.
The mission is to educate the customer into never needed DR services. That in and of itself goes a long way to building a reputation. It is also equally impressive that if you(me) can't complete a job; to recommend a more comprehensive facility.
