I think you misunderstood - the fake drive shown above is not really made by Samsung, so we do not need to think further about Samsung and their country of origin in this case. The fake drive was simply using a case with a "brand name", and the brand name that the Chinese fakers chose this time was Samsung. Other fake Chinese drives have used Sony or Sandisk branding, for example - the brand name chosen is irrelevant, as long as people trust that name and want to buy their products.

That "SSD" disk appears to be very maintenance friendly. Doesn't take much time to swap out the working (?) part :lol:

some time a ago i made my own with USB Hub inside + 4 flashes each was 4gb

there are many DIY websites for funny idea`s including this
