sometimes it takes a few seconds for it to sink in that someone could be so oblivious.. I guess if it was stuck heads it may now be fixed!! |

Luckily it was the HDD the customer wanted me to store the recovered data on it and it was not the faulty drive. After we connected the drive to a Windows Notebook to check the data a Windows Warning came up something telling like that "The drive has severe issues - backup your data quick" |

I've got so many stories like this I'd love to post, but I usually don't just in case my customer happens to be trolling the data recovery forums. I usually wait until a few months after the case is closed to even mention these sort of idiotic things customers do. |
