Hello!

This is my first post in this forum. I am from Poland and I do not speak English good! So please be understanding.
Please do not delete the topic if it is in the wrong section. I really do not know which department to write.

I have a computer:

- MB Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H rev.1.0/bios v.F6 with Pentium G4560 (s1151), 8GB DDR4 2400 & Intel HD610
- operating system Windows 10 Pro x64
- Samsung 960EVO

I have a Hitachi HTS547575A9E384 hard drive.
[ 2.5" SATA2 5400 8M 750GB (formated 680GB), model 5K750-750 ]
I wanted to reduce the capacity from 750GB to 489GB. My disc does not work properly on my satelitte receiver (DVBS2 BOX).
The receiver has the ability to work with 250 and 500GB disks.
Larger disks are not recognized.

Two years ago I had a WDC-WD10EADS (Green Series, 1TB, 7200, 32M, SATA2)
and I used the MHDD program to reduce the capacity. Everything was OK.
No problem, I started the MHDD on the motherboard: ASUS H81MK with SATA2 ports!

Today, the MHDD program (all versions) does not see SATA drives.
All disks are not visible. On the motherboard I only have SATA3 ports. I do not have SATA2 ports. I do not know what to do.

PS. My mother-board boot only with AHCI and UEFI. I do not have IDE mode ...
MHDD: He has problems with: aspidos drivers during boot with Win98-Menu!
Drivers not found, not found, not installed & patch COMMAND.COM not found.
Error 2: Can not save files to drive A

PS2: When will the MHDD version for Windows? :D

PS3: program Vivard 0.4 (2006y) ona cd with MagicBootDisk v2.0 correctly recognizes my disk.
Primary Controler = empty
Slave Controler = Empty
PCI Controller = SCSI HDD (715gB) on port 1f0h, device id: e0h; sectors: 1465149167. All ok.
Why does not mhdd see him?

Maybe you need to rebuild the mhdd disk. If the boot process states it cannot found some drivers, maybe the necessary files are missing. Also, if the messages are about not finding the path to command.com ( that result in a prompt of A> ) , then something is wrong with the boot disk.

ATATool - Windows ATA Disk Info and HPA/DCO Utility:
http://www.datasynergy.co.uk/products/atatool/

Quote:
Data Synergy ATATool can be used to display and modify ATA disk information from a Microsoft Windows environment. We believe this is a unique capability for a freely available tool. The principle use of ATATool is to check/modify the ATA 'Host Protected Area (HPA)' and 'Device Configuration Overlay (DCO)' features.

Current features include:

List attached ATA devices (both legacy PATA and SATA)
Display device information including model/serial number, HPA and DCO status
Modify and reset HPA device status (SETMAX command)
Force Windows device re-detect following HPA status change
Runs inside a Windows environment (including Windows PE)
