Deskstar don't want to seek.

August 7th, 2008, 19:33

Hello, friends

Somebody wanna guess, what is the problem?

The drive comes with no detection in bios.
The customer replaced the pcb, and no change.
I have measured, the preamp with dmm and looks good. :D

Any idea? :D

Yes, the VC's wire left the pad, caused by cold-soldering.

You are the winner! :D

Congratulation!

It would be a shame on this forum if I was the guru of gurus here.
