"Anybody have successfully remove it before ?"

Everytime a travelstar comes and need platter swap.

I am sure you are doing it in clean room, with demagnetized equipment and clean room gloves, and you have successfully parked and removed head without scoring the platter.... aren't you ?

WTF????

Another "one size fits all" solution.

Why on earth are you trying to remove the platter when you yourself suspect heads?

So, if you successfully diagnose yourself with a headache you put a plaster on your toe, right?

(Before anyone starts moaning about "flaming" noobies, then sorry but this guy has clearly ploughed straight in without asking any advice and probably already destroyed his drive.)

This is a good start on making your HDD clock now for you. All you need is some nice light and it is saying 5 o'clock. Now you can get one time zone from here.

Yes successfull stories on how to make a HDD clock exist this one is about all you are good for now the way your are going.

I am sure this is not a clean room job or it is on a clean kitchen table.

Sorry but this one is too far gone now.

Pliers. If it is really stubborn you might have to break out the hammer too.
