I am wanting to perform a board swap on a seagate SCSI drive ST39140W. What chips would need to be transferred to the donor board? :D

Is the problem a "0 MB capacity" or drive not seen by controller ? :mrgreen:

I don't know anything about your board, but I would expect that any unique drive specific data would be stored in EEPROM.

If you upload a detailed photo of the PCB, I should be able to locate likely candidates for you.
