Hotswap with second donor and write all native donor mods back. You got a copy of donor SA mods?

Looks like rom issue. Swap rom will not help. Hot-swap "sometimes" works well.

I had same issue. I have solved randomly.

Donor 320MBB
A list corrupt. Both copy bad. Geo modules bad also. Drive sometime working sometimes endless busy mode. Terminal stuck mostly after some logs.
Patient 500MBB same Fw version.
Good.

Hot swapped PCB , swapped pcb , swapped only connections donor to patient when sleep mode , when working.

Sometimes terminal respond. Sometimes endless busy again.

Drive gets ready randomly. My solution (random)
Not swap pc
Not hot swap.

Connecting working donor . Opening samsung utility. And terminal. Power on of. Get terminal logs. Sleep. And
Remove from donor 》plug to patient according to this
1st Com port
2nd data conn.
3th power conn.
(2 and 3 sometimes changed. Solve random )
Look at terminal.
If something coming to terminal screen wait till ready.
If again busy . Return 1st step.
Sometimes terminal halt message come . Close Samsung utility. Power on of .get busy. Return 1st step.

Sometime I connected samsung utility. When power off channel.
Stopped action. Go terminal. Power on of . Then go step 1

I mostly get result after crazy DIY solution
Refrigerator. Yep. Puted patient 10 min bottom of the refrigerator.
Go step 1.

When get ready somehow.
When trying to Image or clone. Mostly turned again busy

I removed soft , hard , power reset ticks.
And this is best thing in this case , I chose readonly . Critical solution öf this case for.me.
I haven't bypass writing reallocate ever. This way my solution. I checked terminal log when extracting data no attempts to write reallocate indeed. .

Finally.
Go DE
choose folders.
Extract non stop full speed. % 100 recoved clients folders.

After then I decided to clone drive again .
Firstly cloned some LBA good condition. But turned again busy mode.
And not accepted readonly clone anyway .

Note
I had clone before good parts.
Had worked over cloned drive. Could get partial clients folders and files. Sometimes bad sectors sometimes slov sectors.
Had worked in cloning section. Go DE look folders. Extract. Same results. Not a perfect solution.
After get more critical files , client except get risks and I tried Step 1 to and. And I've got all folders that belog to client's in drive. No bad sector. No errors. Full speed. Full files
I am just happy. But MT should improve this stupid behavior solutions.

I am an electronic technician. And another dicipline engineer.
Temperature increase resistance. So low heat mean low resistance.
It is technical subject also. Not a joke. Not only a DIY. So computer has cooling fans. So aluminium using for transferring heat. So drive enclosure aluminium.
Heat increase resistance. That is technical info

I had tested this method before garbage drives. It's not only a DIY . Or not a stupid idea like you guess. I know what am I doing.

This casses drive problem not just about head. I cloned drive mostly full speed. There is SA problem and damaged parts in sea. Head swap.not necessary for this drive.I am sure.

Bye the way I had recovered 2 drive that drive not recovered full reputable , full equipment , 10 years experienced recovery firm. And most cases come that firm not recovered from another recovery firms globally. Not in my city. Not in my country. I did recover % 100 . Lol.
I know what am I doing. Just new in this area.

i have seen this freezer idea in many forums. this is very dangerous and stupid idea.

10min in freezer and after getting, will develope the moisture inside. you know that how sensitive head preamp.
beside, moisture mean, there canbe tiny water drops inside. due to this, will help platter and head damaged.

as proffesional DR, we should not use this kind of method. bec. we have all pro. technical tools.

lasttime you had lucky chance. but god will not give another chances.

this is just an advice as a friend. i don't need to let down. so don't misunderstand.

@Dananjaya
I know moisture risk . So 10 min short time to make moisture .

@pcimage
I agree.

Sometime I am putting some cold things over HDD if getting hot. And cold thing making stable and increase speed.
