Sorry Amarbir I am serious I never wrote this manual and it is first time I saw the index was on here. Sorry but this was written by the guy Stanly Morgan and I do not know him at all. He is the owner of this Dolphin Lab and wrote this for his clients. You can contact him from the email or link you supplied and get information on this one for yourself. Sorry can not help you out on this did not write it and do not have it.

Maybe I am not understanding your post well, but to clarify, is it a good thing to have two manual versions of the same content by two different engineers? Or is it different content, but for the same drive manufacturer? Confused...

Hello there,

The two manuals are both for explaining how to use DFL-WDII, one is basic and the other is advanced. Anyway, the purpose is the same, that's to help DFL-WDII users as much as possible to succeed in WD hdd repair and data recovery cases.

We are offering WD hdd repair scripts and hdd refurbishing fw modules too to DFL-WDII users so that they can make best use of DFL-WDII.

As we all know that, there're different levels of users, some are starters and some are experienced engineers and therefore, it can be better to level the manuals too. However, all DFL-WDII users get all the manuals by login our official forum.
