my questions are
1- which details I have to look when I am searching for donor hard disk for mechanical problem ,is model number is enough or do I have to look also for other details ? the same question I ask for the hard disk with PCB problems , which details I have to look for ?
2-how I can distuingish if pcb is damaged or the motor is damaged of hard disk ? I know that when pcb is damaged there wil be no motor sound!
3- what is the benefit of DFL tool? in which situation you can use it?
4- how I can turn off smart recovery ? and what is the benefit of turning smart recovery?
5- when pcb is damaged of 2.5 inch drive wil only desoldering and soldering of firmware on donor pcb wil be enough?
