I was just looking at the strings in the firmware I downloaded for my drive and I saw the following:

Code:
************************************** SeaCorder Direct Access Log ***************************************
Event Num    ErrorType         LBA          Hrs.Min.Secs.MSecs   PwrCycCnt  SC Error Code         Raw
****************************************** SeaCorder System Disc Log
*********************************************** SeaCorder Flash Log
********************** Horn Plot Log Header**********************
*****************************************************************
************************** 10 hour Logs *************************
************************* 100 hour Logs *************************
********************* Current Horn Plot Data ********************
******************** Current Accumulated Data *******************
************************* Life Time Log *************************
************************* 1000 hour Log *************************
*********************** Worst Ten Hour Log **********************

Anyone know what this is? There's literally no hits on google about "Seagate SeaCorder"

Seagate drives like to have a looped log of their condition. Most likely that's it.

What's the drive family and ID?
