I have purchased HDD duplicator from now defunct www.copyrsoft.com.
for many years there is no updates and even domain is not in use. I have last official version ( Build C243)
Unfortunately this is buggy program ,and disk cloned by this has MBR issue.
Does anyone know about this author and has more recent build ?
Since this software is abandoned ,I am ready to exchange it with some other tool.

If you are set on old school software imaging programs, you can get DiskPatch from http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/DiskPatch.htm

What is the capacity of the HDD that you are trying to clone?

Yours is newer than our 242B version. I'm curious what the differences were. Seller has long packed up and left the market.

Thanks all of you.

As lcoughey has suggested diskpatch could be alternate suited for me.
As spildit has suggested both hddsuperclone and ddrescue are alternates for bigger size cloning but buying DDI3 used is fantastic idea as it will help in data recovery as well. If anyone keen to sell sparingly used DDI3 , pls. PM me.
my answer to fzabkar's question may look strange , I am looking for dos based tools because at a times I get cloning work for hard disks smaller than 2GB ./ SCSI /CF cards etc. Yes these disks are from old automation equipments like PLC, industrial pc's etc.
I have another good dos based tool ,but it is also phased out by developer .
HD duplicator has came with power controller circuit which I have never used.
