Hi All.

I need rom file of eeprom of this WD disk:

WD1600JS-56MHB1
S/N: WCANM8815227
MDL: WD1600JS-56MHB1
DATE: 18 DEC 2006
DCM: DBBHNT2CHN
WD P/N: WD1600JS-56MHB1
Product of Thailand.

Original PCB burnt and rom IC is out ;-(

Please help!

Thanks for answer, i checked all roms included in link but no results. With some roms drive is identified with "hawk", other drive clicking with no ident, and other with blank id, fw and 0 lba.

You saying that U12 is dead? you will need to rebuild ROM from SA on this drive - Can you post a picture please

I never knew you could build a ROM from SA on an older Marvel drive. I'm interested in seeing your method.

Yes, i can. But a picture of what? I have a required tools and skills. Eeprom from original pcb is dead. I replace and use the correct version of pcb and use roms from this site with no results. :-(

A picture of the PCB would enable us to assess the nature of the damage, which may in turn help to assess the likelihood of preamp failure.
